Total Basement Finishing Job completed in Woodbury, CT
This home in Woodbury, CT was very damp and not visually appealing. So the homeowners contacted CT Basement Systems to go from "Basement To Beautiful." We installed our Everlast wall system which is not only 197% stronger than drywall so you can hang a TV but will NEVER support mold or mildew growth. We then replaced the old carpet that when wet supported mold and mildew and made the basement smell musty. We put in our ThermalDry® Basement Flooring which is durable, waterproof and built to last. Unlike traditional ceramic basement floor tiles, ThermalDry® basement flooring will never crack, is stain resistant and its interlocking design assures that damaged tiles can be easily replaced. The homeowners went from avoiding their basement to enjoying the movie room they had always wanted!
Before our Total Basement Finishing team came in, this basement was mainly used as a storage area, as seen in the first picture. The homeowners, however, wanted to make use of this space as a home gym and media center. Ron Marra, a basement expert, came in and helped the family decide what to do.
After CT Basement Systems waterproofed the basement, Eric Dobrzycki worked on transforming the basement into a beautiful living space. He installed our drop ceiling tiles, which are specifically made for basement environments and have a 30 year warranty against mold and sagging. The new basement also has EverLast wall panels, which are engineered to never get moldy or rot, unlike the traditional drywall.
The owners of this home were very happy with their new basement living space, which will last for years to come.
Wow! Look at what Total Basement Finishing did for this homeowner! Talk about increasing the home's living space!
This walkout basement was a cold uninviting space despite the windows. We transformed the space, choosing from our wide range of basement finishing products. The EverLast wall panels are tougher than drywall and the MillCreek flooring will not bend or buckle in the presence of water, making both solutions perfect for a basement environment. The owners of this home now have a dry, attractive and comfortable living space in their basement!
