These Darien homeowners wanted to transform their basement to beautiful. One element that could be upgraded that makes a dramatic difference is the ceiling. This garage was under-insulated and looked dreary. The homeowner wanted to upgrade the space. She decided to call Connecticut Basement Systems for a free estimate!
The solution for this space was to add EverLast Wall Panels to give this space a finished looked. The EverLast walls are engineered to never get moldy or rot and will not become damaged by moisture. This product is NOT like drywall. Drywall with fiberglass insulation supports mold growth, will damage from moisture and will lose insulation when wet. This superior wall option was exactly what the homeowner wanted and was excited to have this installed.
The transformation was incredible once the wall was installed. Just look at the difference between the before and after photos! The homeowner now enjoys the upgraded new space!
This Newtown home had basement windows that were insufficient because they were filled with dirt and debris. They also had an old steel window well, but clearly from this before picture it was dirty and was deteriorating. The homeowner wanted windows that would brighten her home as well as be completely energy efficient. She did her research and decided to call Connecticut Basement Systems for a free estimate.
On the day of the appointment, Ferdinand Gojani was the Sales Representative who arrived at the home to give the inspection. He concluded that EverLast windows in addition to a SunHouse window well would satisfy the window basement needs. The EverLast windows will not rot nor support mold growth and also have double-pane glass to prevent heat loss. The SunHouse window well is made from durable, high-strength plastic that will not rust, deteriorate or require painting. It will also allow a lot of light into the basement. This is exactly what the homeowner wanted and wanted to move forward with the project.
On the day of installation, Chavon Bowman and Kavon Barnett installed the products professionally and efficiently. Once the project was completed, the homeowner was thrilled with the transformation. This Milford, CT home had a basement that had insufficient walls and flooring. The bottom half of the walls were affected by water damage and the floors were cold and uncomfortable. Wanting a solution, the homeowner decided to contact the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems.
The solution was to install EverLast half wall restoration and ThermalDry tiles. The EverLast half wall restoration system is mold and water resistant which is ideal for any basement. Before, this Beacon Falls basement had a water problem that would cause the walls of the basement to be susceptible to mold and moisture damage. This was a great concern for the homeowner. She did her research and decided to call Connecticut Basement Systems to help find her a solution.
The solution for this Beacon Falls basement was to install a WaterGuard System which will ensure the basement stays dry all year long. Instead of water entering the basement, the water is collected in this system and channeled to a sump pump where the water exits through a discharge line. To address the water damage that has already set in the walls, EverLast Wall Restoration was installed on the half wall. The materials in the restored half wall are immune to mold and moisture damage which requires no maintenance and never needs painting. The wood-framed upper wall can’t absorb floor moisture, so it is protected from future damage.
The homeowner was impressed with her transformed basement and now enjoys a dry and pleasant basement!
